No doubt you’ve heard of Barnum and Bailey Circus. PT Barnum was, without a doubt one of the greatest promoters in the past 200 years.

But he wasn’t the only one. When asked the name of a popular magician, over 80 percent of Americans will reply, “Houdini”.

Why? Houdini died over 75 years ago.

What most people don’t know is Houdini was a master promoter. He spent countless hours getting attention, getting in the paper, creating news, and promoting himself tirelessly.

We all know Houdini, Barnum and now Trump is in their ranks by one thing, PERSONAL PROMOTION.

The Apprentice is not only a fun, entertaining and sometimes educational business show…its a perfect showcase for us to see the greatest promoter of our day at work.

Think about the masses of people watching the Apprentice that would have never watched it otherwise.

Trump brings these celebrities to the table, but he also brings ALL of their fans that would have never watched Trump, but now are Trump fans as well!

Anytime I hear someone say “I can’t promote because I’m high end” I have to laugh.

Trump is Luxury, yet he promotes. Wynn is Luxury and he promotes. Branson, with Virgin Air is Luxury and he promotes.

Promotion doesn’t mean making a fool of yourself (although sometimes thats a good idea) it means being in front of your customers…ALL THE TIME!

Promotion means that when someone asks a customer in your area “Who do you think of when you hear Furnishings Store” they say your name!
