Are You Afraid of Personal Promotion?

Just the other day I was talking to my brother-in-law about a computer he recently purchased. He loves to day-trade and since he bought a Mac, he felt frustrated. A Mac can only run a few of the software programs for traders.

So he arranged to sell his Mac to someone else and buy a PC. He called to ask me what PC he thought I should buy. I told him he should build one himself.

My brother-in-law is not about building computers. He is like the majority of Americans and computer consumers…he wants something reliable, easy to use, and with a strong warranty or guarantee.

Locally a computer store runs some pretty high impact marketing. Actually the owner of the store advertises or promotes himself. He does these crazy commercials that really catches your attention.

Over the past few years this crazy computer owner made millions. Why?

Because he offered reliable and easy to use computers. They actually built the computers for you. Yet he also offered one heck of a guarantee…A lifetime guarantee. People really liked that. People felt confident that if their computer broke down, they always had a place to fix it..

My brother-in-law bought one of his computers. This guy isn’t the cheapest, or even close to being the cheapest. But his sales are off the charts.

Personality is a huge component of your marketing. The most successful business people use their personality or “self promotion” to sell their services and products.

Self-promoters make tons of money. For example Donald Trump or Oprah Winfrey.

Or take the brothers of Jordan’s Furniture! It helped them so much, Warren Buffett eagerly awaited their phone call like a young girl waiting by the telephone to be asked on a date.

As you know, he bought their company.

Most people are interested in people, not boring business facts. If you use the techniques of emotional direct response marketing, and build personality into your marketing, you will be wildly successful. Yet be careful not to do things that will shed a negative impact on you and your business services. This one simple technique has help multiple of our members attract more traffic than they’ve ever wanted.

Dedicated to giving you MORE time, money and freedom
